When using the override key, is there any additional security
The Override key is to be used only in an emergency - constant use will damage the locking mechanism. We do not recommend using it in busy times to avoid waiting period. Only use in case of emergency.
Where can I get a replacement floor securing bolt for this safe?
Brand & Model of the Safe – Different safes use different bolt sizes and types.
Bolt Specifications – If you have an old bolt, details like length, diameter, and thread type (metric or imperial) will help find a match.
Mounting Surface – Are you securing it to concrete, wood, or another surface? This determines if you need expansion anchors or regular bolts.
Image (Optional) – If you have a picture of the bolt or its mounting point, that would help identify the right replacement.
How do I fit the bolts into the floor?
To secure your safe to the floor, use heavy-duty anchor bolts for concrete or lag screws for wood. Drill appropriately sized holes, insert anchors if needed, and tighten the bolts securely. Proper installation prevents theft and tipping, ensuring maximum protection. Always follow manufacturer guidelines for the best results.
Can a time be set so that the safe can after some specified time?
A time-delay or programmable time-lock safe allows access only after a set period, enhancing security. Some models feature electronic or mechanical timers, preventing unauthorized access. Ideal for businesses or high-security needs, these safes deter theft by restricting immediate opening. Check your safe model for compatibility with time-lock features.
What are the different types of safes?
There are various types of safes, including fireproof, burglary, gun, wall, floor, depository, jewelry, hotel, biometric, and data safes. Each serves a unique purpose, from securing valuables and firearms to protecting against fire or theft. Choosing the right safe depends on security needs, storage capacity, and access preferences.
Can you fasten my safe to the floor?
I can't physically fasten your safe, but I can guide you through the process! Let me know your floor type (concrete, wood, tile) and the bolts you have, and I'll provide step-by-step instructions to securely install it.
If I select a lock with a battery and the battery dies, will I be locked out of my safe?
Most battery-powered safes have backup options to prevent lockouts:
External Battery Backup – Some safes allow you to connect an external power source to temporarily power the lock.
Override Key – Many safes include a manual key for emergency access.
Backup Code – Some models store access codes even when the battery dies.

Security is a major concern in today's society, whether it is for homes, businesses, or important assets. Having a high-security locking mechanism is crucial given the ever-evolving risks of lock picking and unauthorized key duplicating.
Modern Strongbox safes with innovative dual-locking mechanisms that offer exceptional protection against physical tampering are our specialty at Advance Security. Our locking technology ensures that your belongings stay safe by going beyond conventional solutions.
However, what distinguishes our locking systems? Let's examine how our cutting-edge security solutions differ from conventional locks and why top companies in a range of sectors rely on Strongbox safes.
The innovative dual locking system, which makes the lock practically impenetrable, is manufactured by ASSA. Because of this special operation, ASSA has been able to create a patented key control system that guards against illegal key duplication and can be master keyed into a security system to meet the needs of every client. The locking mechanism does not need to be purchased from ASSA by Advance Security. Rather, we are authorized to produce the locking mechanism in our own plant.
Dual locking mechanism v/s normal locking mechanism
The key for the dual locking mechanism has two codes, which is how it differs from the standard locking mechanism:
· The biting code or system code:
In essence, it indicates which particular key system the lock belongs to and what configuration the key must have in order to operate it correctly. It is a set of numbers or letters engraved on the key that serve as a unique identifier, enabling locksmiths to duplicate the key by precisely cutting the required grooves based on that code.
Side bar Code:
This is a specific code that is incorporated into the cylinder's design and works with particular "side pins" on the key. It adds an extra degree of security by requiring both the correct key profile and the side bar code in order to release the lock.
In normal Locking mechanism a person with the right tools might theoretically unlock the door without the necessary key because the standard locking mechanism only includes the system code and not the side bar code, making it susceptible to physical manipulation like picking or bumping. However, with Advance Security's Strongbox Safe, this risk is significantly reduced.
How does Dual locking mechanism work and what are its advantages:
The key has two locking mechanism, one known as system code and the other called side bar code. The lock contains small pins or disc inside it. When the correct key is inserted into the lock, it pushes the pins or rotates the disc to the right position. This alignment helps in creating a clear path for the lock to turn. Once everything is properly aligned, the cylinder can rotate.
Manufacturing and incorporating the dual locking mechanism helps advance security safe lock to be advantageous in three ways:
1. Complex pins system, making them resistant to picking or bumping
2. Added sidebar codes which act as an additional security
3. Locks made up of strong materials to resist drilling or forced entry
Whether you need a deposit safe, an adjustable shelf safe, or a roll-out shelf safe, our products ensure your assets stay secure.

Security is a major concern for companies that deal with cash transactions on a daily basis. Protecting your profits against theft and improper use is essential whether you're operating a restaurant, retail establishment, or service station. This is where Drop Safes come in—designed to provide a secure and efficient way to store cash deposits without giving employees direct access to the main compartment.
A cash drop safe, sometimes referred to as a deposit safe or drop box safe, is designed to keep out unwanted people while providing a practical means to store cash, cheques, and other valuables. However, what really makes a cash drop safe effective? We'll go over the key characteristics, varieties, and real-world uses of drop safes in this guide. You can choose the safe that best suits your needs if you understand how these safes operate.
What characteristics allow a cash drop safe to be used in different settings?
· Drop/Chute:- Advance security cash Drop safes differ from standard safes in that they contain a slot or chute on the top or front that allows users to put objects into the safe without having to open the main door. Drop safes are particularly useful for enterprises that deal with cash on a regular basis, such as retail establishments, restaurants, banks, and petrol stations.
· Material:- Advance security cash drop safes are composed of stainless steel, which has higher strength, durability, and corrosion resistance when compared to other materials, making them a safe and sanitary option for storage. This helps to increase the longetivity of the safe and reduces frequent replacement, hence enhancing sustainability.
· Anti drill Plate:- Cash drop safes are equipped with manganese drill resistant hardplates, which aid to prevent destructive attempts to drill locks, which are all too common during break-ins. Manganese steel is recognized for its work hardening properties, which means that the more impact it receives, the harder the surface becomes.
· Variable Sizes:- Variable sizes provide alternatives for a wide range of business and household applications. Customers can choose the safe's size based on the volume of transactions and its intended use from Advance security’s cash drop safe.
· Burglary Protection:- Cash drop safes are constructed with a B-rated safe body comprised of at least 1/4" thick steel and a door at least 1/2" thick. This provides protection against unauthorized access.
Types of Cash Drop Safes:-
1. Front Loading Drop Safe:- These safes include a front-facing deposit hole, making them perfect for under-counter use in retail establishments, restaurants, and gas stations. They enable personnel to deposit cash or things from the front without opening the main door.
2. Small drop Safe:- These compact units, ideal for small firms with few cash transactions, perform an important function in protecting cash deposits until they can be safely transferred to a bigger drop safe in the manager's office or taken to the bank. Nonetheless, because they normally carry smaller quantities of cash, there is no compelling reason to bolt them to a concrete floor. Anchoring them to a wall, especially near a cashier's desk, provides adequate security.
3. Double-door or 2-door depository:- Advance Security Double-door or 2-door depository safes are ideal for organizations that require control over who has access to cash deposits and cash drawers. They are designed to improve both security and organizational efficiency. These innovative safes are outfitted with two distinct access doors, each with a specific purpose for comprehensive asset security.
1. Floor-Mounted Drop Safes:- Floor-mounted drop safes are attached to the floor, providing added stability and security. They are appropriate for enterprises that handle a large number of deposits and require a long-lasting and reliable solution.
Uses of Cash Drop Safe:-
· Retail stores:- Advance Security drop safes are commonly used in retail settings like convenience stores, supermarkets, and boutiques. They function as a secure depository for cash from cash registers during business hours. Employees can deposit cash in the safe without having to go to the main cash storage location, which reduces the danger of internal theft.
· Restaurants: - Drop safes are crucial in the hospitality business, particularly for restaurants, bars, and nightclubs, to secure cash tips and daily profits. Servers and bartenders can put their tips straight into the safe, reducing the likelihood of cash vanishing before it is fully accounted for. Pizza Pizza, Canada's largest pizza restaurant, uses Advance Security's cash drop safes. From the last twenty years.
Securing cash transactions is essential for a successful business operation. Cash drop safes provide a dependable and effective means of preventing theft, unauthorized access, and mishandling of cash. No matter if you run a small retail store, a busy restaurant, or a large corporate entity, putting money into a drop safe is a way to boost security and improve operational efficiency.
Don't leave your cash security to chance.
If you're looking for a dependable, high quality cash drop safe, now is the time to invest in Advance security’s cash drop safe.

Research has shown that convenience store robberies have risen in recent years, accounting for 6% of all reported robberies. What is it that makes convenience stores easy targets for robbery? This is due to the fact that:
1. Convenience stores are often located in remote areas, making them vulnerable to criminal activity.
2. Convenience stores are open 24 hours, allowing thieves to monitor shift schedules and employee count.
3. Cash on hand: Convenience stores have the biggest cash inflows but have fewer online purchases. As a result, robbers have an easier time stealing the money.
4. Convenience stores lack adequate security procedures and rules compared to other businesses.
However, convenience shop owners have created techniques to lessen the likelihood of being robbed while also increasing safety. They have proposed a number of solutions, including enhanced lighting, strategic camera placement, and employee training on security protocols and cash handling, and, most importantly, the usage of safes. Convenience store owners have begun to use several types of safes based on their demands, including cash drop safes, time delay safes, bullet and fireproof safes, and burglary safes. Implementing a safe has reduced robberies to some level, and many new store owners have begun to follow this concept.
Let's understand the numerous sorts of safes and their advantages:
Time Delay Safes
Constructed from solid metal, a time-delay safe incorporates an advanced electronic locking mechanism with a built-in timer that prevents access until a predetermined period has elapsed after the correct combination is entered. This design eliminates the possibility of immediate entry and deters robbery attempts. Additionally, regulations prohibit override codes, keys, or any other methods of bypassing the time delay safe.
Benefits of a Time delay safe with Time Delay Lock
Investing in a Time delay safe with a Time Delay Lock offers several benefits:
1. Enhanced Security: The time delay lock adds an extra layer of security, making it more difficult for unauthorized individuals to access the narcotics stored in the safe.
2. Peace of Mind: Knowing that valuables are stored in a secure and tamper-proof safe provides peace of mind to staff and owners.
Cash Drop Safe:-
A cash drop safe, also known as a deposit safe or drop box safe, is intended to keep unwelcome visitors out while still providing a practical storage solution for cash, checks, and other valuables. Advance Security’s Cash Drop safes differ from standard safes in that they contain a slot or chute on the top or front that allows users to put objects into the safe without having to open the main door. The primary distinguishing characteristic of a drop safe is its deposit mechanism, which allows for quick and secure deposits while reducing the risk of illegal entry or theft.
Benefits of a Cash Drop Safe:
1. Theft Deterrence:
Cash Drop safes deter theft and unauthorized access. The existence of a drop safe indicates to potential burglars that valuable objects are safely held, discouraging them from attempting a break in.
2. Efficiency:
Cash Drop safes improve business efficiency by streamlining cash handling processes. Employees may rapidly put cash, checks, and receipts into the safe without having to open the main compartment, which reduces the chance of internal theft.
3. Peace of Mind:
Drop safes offer homeowners peace of mind by protecting essential documents, jewelry, and valuables from theft, fire, and other unexpected catastrophes. If you want to read and get in depth knowledge about Cash Drop safe and visit www.advancesecurity.com/blogs
Burglary Safe:-
A burglary safe is a secure storage container that is specifically built to safeguard precious objects from theft, as well as other hazards like fire or flood. These safes are constructed with reinforced materials and advanced locking systems to resist a range of break-in tactics, such as prying, drilling, and tampering.
Benefits of a Burglary Safe:
· Advanced technologies:
It improve the effectiveness and ease of burglary safes. The burglary safe is equipped with biometric locks, remote monitoring and alarms, and networking features. This improves security, data access, backup options, and user administration.
· Water resistant:
In addition to theft prevention, many modern safes are designed to withstand water damage. For example, the Advanced security strongbox safe include water-resistant features that protect your belongings in the case of a flood or leak.
In Conclusion, Convenience store robberies have long been a threat, but by implementing improved security measures, store owners are taking important steps to protect their companies. From enhanced surveillance and staff training to the usage of Advance security safes, these improvements have made it increasingly difficult for criminals to succeed in their efforts. Investing in the correct type of safe—whether it's a time-delay safe, cash drop safe, or burglary safe—can make a significant difference in preventing theft and securing critical valuables.
